A leading telecommunications company in Cheltenham is seeking a Software Engineering Professional to support software engineering strategies and project delivery. This full-time role requires eligibility for DV Security Clearance and offers competitive benefits, including a salary with a potential 10% bonus, pension scheme, annual leave, and various flexible benefits. Candidates should ideally have strong programming skills and experience in CI/CD and Agile environments. This is an onsite position, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Due to the sensitive nature of this role, you will be required to undergo DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance. An allowance of £5k per annum may be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful in being recruited into this role.

The Software Engineering Professional supports the execution of the software engineering strategy and roadmap that supports BT's commercial strategy through cross‑functional project and technical delivery and the participation of a team that pursues innovation as well as engineering excellence.
This job role can be based in Cheltenham or Manchester. Onsite (5 days office based). Monday‑Friday 9am‑5pm. You will need to be eligible to obtain DV Security Clearance before starting this role and have lived in the UK for 10+ years.
