As an Associate - Equities Front Office Marking and Analytics Software Engineer in the Marking and Analytics team, you will design, develop, and enhance applications critical to our Equity Derivatives trading and sales desks. You will partner closely with trading, sales, Quantitative Research, and other technology teams to deliver innovative solutions. You will be part of an agile, delivery‑focused team that values collaboration and technical excellence. Your work will directly impact business processes and provide opportunities to propose and implement new ideas. You will help drive business transformation across analytics, marking, and publishing.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain applications for marking, trading, risk, and analytics
  • Collaborate with trading desks, sales, Quantitative Research, and technology teams
  • Partner with front office to automate processes and functions using technology solutions
  • Participate in business transformation projects across analytics and publishing
  • Propose and explore new solutions to enhance business competitiveness
  • Ensure stability and reliability of the existing technology stack
  • Break down requirements into technical deliverables and estimate effort
  • Apply disciplined code management, testing, and deployment practices
  • Utilize best‑in‑class technologies such as Python, Java, and React/Redux
  • Communicate effectively with global and local counterparts
  • Solve complex problems with mathematical and technological backgrounds
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining commercial service‑oriented applications
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java)
  • Knowledge of at least one relational database (e.g., Sybase, SQL Server, Oracle)

  • Business knowledge of simple derivative products (vanilla options, variance swaps, strategies involving vanillas), including pricing and risk evaluation using Greeks
  • Equities business knowledge or relevant experience in other business areas
  • Unix or Linux knowledge
  • Working knowledge of continuous integration and deployment processes
  • Experience with project management
