Software Engineer – Hardware-in-the-Loop
Salary: £45,000-£55,000 plus bonus and benefits
Location: Stevenage – primarily on-site working with world-class equipment

Design simulations for high-calibre weapons systems as a Software Engineer for this well-known defence company that produces military weapons systems.

About the role:
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the underlying real-time software tools for the simulation of real missile hardware. You will also support the deployment of these tools in designing the simulations and running experiments.

To be suitable for this role, you will have broad engineering experience with deeper experience in some of the following areas:

• Software design for real-time applications
• Software design using C/C++
• Understanding of Linux
• Experience using microcontrollers
• Knowledge of system analysis, interface debugging and system integration
• Familiarity with Object Orientated approaches would be desirable
