BMW Group Plant Hams Hall is a modern, state-of-the-art engine manufacturing facility, located just outside Birmingham, UK. Producing the latest generation of three- and four-cylinder petrol engines, and precision machining key engine components, the plant will soon be celebrating 25 years of production. Operating seven days a week, with more than one engine rolling off the line per minute, the plant plays a key role in BMW Group’s global production network, supplying engines for BMW and MINI, including some of the latest plug-in hybrid vehicles.

This role offers a unique blend of responsibilities and opportunities, working with state-of-the-art technologies and complex data systems integral to our production processes.
As the recipient of the UK Manufacturer Smart Factory Award 2023, our team works on cutting-edge technologies such as generative AI, robotics, NVIDIA Omniverse, digital twins, and computer vision. Dive into full-stack development and contribute to the creation of sophisticated systems utilizing both cloud and on-premises solutions, with exposure to industry-standard tools such as Apache Kafka. Expect to make a tangible impact and be given the responsibility and freedom to develop your skills.
