Overview

We support our clients across domestic gas, commercial gas, renewables, and electrical services. We are London’s largest, most successful gas contractor, focusing on long-term contracts with our clients to offer our staff job security and progression opportunities.

Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Gas Engineer to join our growing team as a Soft-Fix Gas Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• To achieve a first-time soft fix, when possible, over the phone
• Accurately record the results of the soft-fix
• To minimise costs by ordering parts for first-time fix
• To maintain customer satisfaction
• Scrutinize incoming work for possible soft fixes that could be carried out
• Provide tablet support and training to field engineers
• Provide technical support and training for office staff
• Report on final figures at month end for soft-fix jobs
• Carry out soft-fix training/introduction to heating systems and components for office staff
• Carry out basic training for field engineers (job stock and tablet usage)
• Ensure that your actions put the safety of other employees and or residents first
• Proactively seek to improve Customer Service and process

Working Hours & Schedule

This role involves flexible shift work across five days per week, including Saturdays and Sundays, based on your availability, there will be a fair and balanced rotation.

Shift times: 10am-6pm

The successful candidate will have

• Valid ACS & other relevant gas qualifications
• Experience within Social Housing
• Extensive experience working in the field within Domestic Gas
• Experience delivering high levels of customer service
• The ability to work with a diverse customer base
• Must be available to work 2 weekends per month (or equivalent with time off in lieu)
