An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Assessment, Care Management and Review Team based in Cunninghame House, Irvine. We are seeking a Social Worker (Grade 10) on a full-time, permanent contract. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in undertaking needs led assessments, devising interventions while responding to and managing risk. An understanding of the current pressures experienced in Health and Social Care sector is essential as well as the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Team Manager, you will be involved in protecting and promoting the welfare and wellbeing of Adults at Risk including adults with physical disabilities and older adults. This a challenging and rewarding role and will require the successful candidate to work in a multi-disciplinary setting; to consult with service users and their representatives to ensure their needs and rights are promoted while practicing within policy and legislative frameworks. Experience of working with Older People and Adults with Physical Disabilities desirable
