With two days a week in the office, some travel outside of London may be required to visit children in care.

What You Will Do

Work directly with children and provide clear, accurate assessments of their needs in line with statutory guidance, collecting information through interviews and observations.

Develop, implement, and review care plans, including protection plans within the child protection framework, based on assessed risks and needs.

Manage a caseload effectively, organising and prioritising tasks and responsibilities to meet statutory requirements and performance targets.

Prepare concise and informative reports and deliver them in various settings, including courts and meetings with families and professionals.

Execute focused social work interventions with explicit goals aiming to safeguard children and improve outcomes.

Maintain detailed case records and ensure all information is up to date and organised on appropriate systems.

Collaborate with other agencies to promote an integrated approach to achieving positive outcomes for children.

Flexibly deliver services in homes, schools, or community settings as needed.
