  • Triaging referrals coming into the team
  • Applying thresholds for Universal Service, Early Help, and Social Care
  • Communicating effectively with professionals and parents daily via telephone
  • Analysing risk from presenting information and follow-up calls
  • Identifying risks and participating in strategy discussions

Qualifications and requirements

As a seasoned social worker, you’ll demonstrate specialist knowledge in areas such as Child Protection, Public Law Outline, and Children in Need. You’re well-versed in relevant legislation and statutory guidance, capable of producing high-quality, analytical screening assessments. Your strengths-based and risk-assessed intervention plans are outcome-focused and communicated with clarity to both families and professionals. Previous experience within a MASH or front door service is highly desirable.
