What you will do:
  • Serve as the independent voice for children and young people, ensuring their views shape their care decisions.

  • Chair Child Protection Conferences to develop clear plans that safeguard children at risk of significant harm.
  • Hold the Local Authority and partners accountable for high-quality practice and outcomesontos for children and their families.
  • Promote safety and wellbeing through collaborative, multi-agency work, ensuring excellence in safeguarding practices.
What we are looking for:
  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
  • Minimum 5 years of frontline experience in children and families work, or experience as an Independent Reviewing Officer/Child Protection Advisor.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
