This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join the Assessment Team in Doncaster. With the launch of the Government’s Family Help Model initiative, you will be at the forefront of shaping innovative family support services. This ongoing full-time locum role offers a competitive hourly rate of £35, giving you the chance to support children in need, manage child protection cases, and mentor less experienced colleagues.

What You Will Do:

Conduct thorough assessments for children and families to identify needs and interventions.

Collaborate with multi-agency teams to provide comprehensive support.

Manage Child in Need (CIN) cases and, when required, child protection cases.

Mentor and provide oversight for unqualified social workers working on low-risk CIN cases.

Attend meetings and case conferences to ensure effective case planning.

Work office-based five days per week, with occasional opportunities to work from home.
