A local restaurant company in Truro is seeking a creative marketing professional to enhance their social media presence and content creation. This role involves creating engaging content, managing social media platforms, and collaborating across various restaurants. Ideal candidates should have 2-3 years of experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for food and hospitality.
We are looking for a creative to join our crew and help us supercharge our socials and drive our general marketing design and creation.
We’re a growing family of restaurants, known for award-winning burgers, craft beers and good times. This role is all about helping us shout louder about what we do: building excitement around our brand, the depth of our story and making sure our guests feel part of the Hub Box family.
We’re on a mission to be the South West’s most loved burger joint. The place locals choose first, and the place they recommend to visitors. When people ask “where’s good?” — we want the answer to be Hub Box.
Hospitality’s in our DNA: making people feel welcome, looked after, and part of the family. That’s why there’s care and craft in everything we serve and everything we say.
We want our marketing - particularly our socials - to live up to that, to tell our story with energy, edge and authenticity.
We’re looking for a creative who shares our passion for hospitality and belief in doing things properly, or not at all. We put our hearts and souls into our food, our drinks and the experience we provide our guests, and will expect the same from you.
You’ll LOVE food. You’ll hopefully love burgers, but above all we are foodies and we need you to share the same passion. You’ll be driven by flavour of all kinds - food, drink, music - and be able to quickly get in tune with who we are and help us bring this to life.
You’ll be our marketing kingpin: creating content, running campaigns and helping to grow our community. You’ll need to work with our heads of food & drink, visit our central kitchen occasionally, and travel to our restaurants across the South West from time to time to capture content and stay connected with the teams and the local scene.
This is a new role for us and of primary importance is finding the right person. It could be part-time, flexible hours, mostly remote (we don’t have a central office) - as long as we get the engagement from you and the results we want from what you’re doing, we are open to how it will work best with the right person. You’ll have the support & direction of our leadership team.
Creating original, engaging content.
A creative with a knack for making content people can’t scroll past and at least 2-3 years hard graft in a similar role.
We’re not a faceless chain. We love great food, drink and hospitality. We care about what we do, we back our teams, and we’ve been at this for 20 years — still pushing, still building.
If you’re hungry to make a difference, to create content that people actually want to follow, and to help us make sure everyone leaves happy — we want to hear from you.
Show us what you’ve got! Tell us why you think you’d be a great fit and what you can bring to the family, and send us your portfolio to show us what you're capable of and that you can smash what we’ll need you to do.
Interviews will be ongoing until we find the right person.
