A leading broadcasting organization in London is looking for a Social Media Manager to oversee major social campaigns. The successful candidate will lead a team while developing performance-driven social strategies targeted at youth engagements. Ideal candidates will have a background in TV or audiovisual media and the ability to manage dynamic projects through effective leadership.
PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £50,000 - £59,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights. We’re looking for a strategic, experienced and creative social media leader to be our Social Media Manager - Social Campaigns - BBC Three, responsible for leading the social campaigns for some of the very biggest TV programmes at the BBC, with a strong focus on BBC Three. Line managing a team of four and reporting to the Head of Social, iPlayer and Three, the role will help deliver a coherent, consistent social media experience for UK 16-34s, with a strong focus on 16-24, working closely with the TV Social Production, Edit and Planning teams as well as other promotional, editorial and production teams at the BBC, to ensure each campaign delivers on the agreed social strategy, maximises engaged reach with young audiences, delivers content of the highest creative quality, and drives traffic around the BBC portfolio and reaches youth audiences at scale.
