SME Commercial / Personal Lines Broker / Account Handler – Sheffield Area

Our client is a quality independent insurance brokerage based in the Sheffield area. Due to a recent internal promotion, this brand new role has become available and would suit an individual looking to work for a quality, secure and well respected business.

The role will involve dealing with the SME clients, typically paying premiums up to around £5k per annum. This will be a mixture of commercial package policies and some smaller commercial combined. There will also be a small number of personal lines and medium net worth policies, all connected to existing commercial clients.

This is a busy role with a relatively high volume of clients to deal with and would be ideal for applicants who enjoy being busy, speaking to lots of people on a daily basis, with good attention to detail, highly organised and a strong communicator.

We would prefer applicants to have at least 12 months commercial insurance experience and be committed to pursuing ACII studies. We will also consider experienced personal lines brokers looking to move into commercial insurance.

Currently the majority of staff are working from home, however, once things return to normal they intend to operate on a flexible part office / park home basis.
