Qualifications

  • Full driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

  • Repairing and refurbishing damage to vehicles including scratches and dents.
  • Performing cosmetic paint touch ups and local paintwork repairs.
  • Maintaining equipment and reporting problems to the Bodyshop Manager.

Smart Repair Technician – Stevenage area

I am working with an Accident Repair Centre near Stevenage in Hertfordshire who are currently seeking a SMART Repair Paint Technician.

Job Role – Smart Repair Paint Technician

Job Location – Stevenage in Hertfordshire

Salary – £30,000 plus bonus (Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm)

Smart Repair Technician from all kinds of Bodyshop backgrounds, with good all rounder experience. You will be an integral part of our team as a Smart Repair Paint Technician and will be working on all types of makes of vehicles in a new state of the art modern clean workshop. Working within the Bodyshop you will carry out Smart repairs to cars and LCV vehicles.

Job role to include:
  • Repairing and refurbishing any damage that has occurred to the vehicles. This includes scratches, scuffs and dents as well as windscreen chips, upholstery repair and leather reconditioning and recolouring and wheel refurbishments.
  • Cleaning and preparing the vehicles to be repaired.
  • Performing cosmetic paint touch ups and local paintwork repairs.
  • Maintaining equipment on a regular basis and reporting any problems to the Bodyshop Manager.
About You:
  • Previous experience as a Smart Repairer within any type of bodyshop / accident repair centre.
  • Body shop / or equivalent experience.
  • Qualifications will be an advantage.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Able to work to tight timescales and thrive off the pressure of a busy bodyshop department.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
