Job summary

A leading body shop in Borehamwood is seeking a motivated SMART Repair Technician to deliver high-quality vehicle repairs. The successful candidate will join a friendly team, ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications, and maintain exceptional customer service standards while achieving OTE earnings of up to £40k.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a SMART Repair Technician or in a similar role.
  • Full driving license required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare vehicles to high standards as set by the manufacturer.
  • Deal with all aspects of SMART Repair including painting and polishing.
  • Maintain customer service levels leading to loyalty and referrals.

About the position

The role requires preparing vehicles to the high standards set by our manufacturer. The successful candidate for our SMART Repair Technician vacancy will have previous experience in a similar role and strong teamwork skills.

You will be welcomed into a friendly team and have the opportunity to work with an exciting product. A large part of the SMART Repair Technician position involves:

  • Dealing with all aspects of SMART Repair
  • Preparing and priming bodywork to manufacturers’ specification.
  • Mixing and colour-matching, painting all repaired areas to a high standard, and polishing as appropriate.
  • Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
  • Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.

About our requirements

We expect you to demonstrate some skills that will prove very beneficial in the position, including:

  • Aptitude for multi-tasking.
  • Quality awareness.
  • Full driving license.

Salary: Basic £26-30k and OTE £40k plus

Hours: Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm and 1 Saturday in 4 8.30am to 1pm
