Overview

Haven vets are looking for an experienced Small Animal Vet who has experience with both surgery and consultations. Are you a confident surgeon? Perhaps you are looking for the next steps in a certificate or access to a growing caseload? Are you comfortable with supporting colleagues to develop their own skills in routine surgeries and dental procedures? You should have a genuine desire to support and promote development in your fellow vets. We are looking for someone who prides themselves on leading by example, has the surgical confidence to coach and develop their colleagues and will support the practice director and veterinary team lead to deliver a consistently high level of service to our clients and patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership by example, coaching colleagues in routine surgeries and dental procedures and supporting skill development.
  • Collaborate with the practice director and veterinary team lead to deliver consistently high-quality service to clients and patients.
  • Offer autonomy in your role within the first opinion practice to influence the client journey and team performance.
  • Contribute to the ongoing clinical projects, team growth, and development of nurses’ roles in schedule 3 and clinical procedures.

  • Salary up to £60,000 DOE and a generous CPD budget
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays (+ 1 additional day every year, up to 5 years), with the option to sell/buy up to 2 weeks
