Systematic Literature Reviewer / Evidence Synthesis Consultant

The role

The purpose of the role is to support and lead on the design and execution of clinical, economic and quality of life systematic literature reviews. You will work alongside expert technical teams to support development of health technology assessment submission dossiers or work with internal systematic review analysts and statisticians to conduct de‑novo global literature reviews.

Role scope / responsibility :

Conduct and help supervise systematic literature review and evidence synthesis projects :

  • Design
  • Running of searches
  • Review of title, abstract and full papers
  • Data extraction
  • Quality assessment
  • Reporting

Undertake and assist in project management activities on SLR projects :

  • Project planning
  • Client communication
  • Managing / reviewing the work of other SLR analysts
Ideal profile :
  • MSc / PhD in relevant field
  • Extensive SLR experience, including clinical and economic SLR
  • Minimum 3+ years in a consulting firm / CRO highly desirable or several years relevant academic or public sector setting
  • Hands on experience of network meta‑analysis an advantage, but not essential
  • Exposure to HTA processes and Pharma clients / private sector clients

This is a technical hands‑on position, giving you a pathway to develop leadership, client management and commercial skills, or stay in the ‘technical SME lane’ under the guidance and support of an established leadership team. The choice is yours!
