A healthcare organization in Wales is looking for an SLE Workforce Administrator to provide customer and administrative support to trainees in their employment journey. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and experience in a busy environment. Responsibilities include handling queries, maintaining records, and liaising with various stakeholders. This position supports administrators and requires flexibility in working location, contributing to a commitment to an inclusive workplace.
The SLE Workforce Administrator will provide a professional and responsive customer and administrative service to all resident doctors, dentists and trainee pharmacists on recognised training programmes across NHS Wales.
The post holder will be the first point of contact for any queries related to the trainees employment and will be required to liaise with the SLE team as well as HEIW, Health Boards and GP Practices. They will play a pivotal role in providing the administrative support in the trainees employment journey from recruitment to the point they complete their training programme.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
A professional and responsive customer and administrative service will be required therefore we would be looking for a candidate with experience in a busy working environment who is the ability to prioritise and work under pressure. There will be a requirement to deal with multiple stakeholders including trainees, HEIW, Health Boards and GP practices therefore excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. There would be a requirement for the successful candidate to have the ability to work with a number of different Microsoft packages.

NWSSP work in an agile way where possible, all posts will have a contractual base but as part of agile ways of working that may mean working from home and other locations. We also look at how we balance flexibility with community, and how to manage opportunities to learn from each other.
The post holder will be the first point of contact for the SLE team for any employment queries that are received, they would be responsible for triaging the calls and e-mails received and resolving routine queries. The post holder would provide comprehensive administrative support during the annual recruitment programme supporting the team during the busy onboarding and changeover period. They would be responsible for maintaining all employment records of trainees including personal files, sickness absence and employment requests received from trainees.
