About The Role

As a Skills Practitioner you will provide Learning/Technical support to staff and students within the Division and undertake assessment and quality assurance duties as required by the College and awarding bodies.

In Your Role As a Skills Practitioner You Will
  • liaise with internal and external customers/stakeholders
  • Maintain a clean and safe working and studying environment
  • Stock control to include ordering and issuing of supplies
  • Ensure all work stations are equipped with supplies, equipment and tools for practical lessons
  • Assess students work both theory and practical and provide valuable feedback
  • Provide support to students in the classroom
  • Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment

About You

We are seeking to appoint an organised and efficient member to our team who has excellent communication skills and can facilitate learners on tasks. You will also provide demonstrations as required in class to aid the delivery of outstanding provision within EKC Group.

You will have recent industry experience and ideally have experience of education or involvement in training in the workplace.

You will be able to work with young people to achieve and succeed their full potential aligned with the culture and ethos of the Group.

The successful candidate will have a key responsibility for instilling and upholding strong Health & Safety standards in practical environments and will purchase resources and materials within budget.
