Qualifications

Site Supervisor

We're looking for Site Supervisors to join Green Funding Solutions, this role is based in Nottingham.

Here’s what you’ll be doing

We have exciting new opportunities for Site Supervisors within our Green Funding Solutions team. In this role you will help to oversee the delivery of a wide variety of energy efficiency measures installed via our supply chain across England. As a business we have secured a large volume of Green Funding contracts working with various Local Authorities and Housing Associations across the country.

Within this role you will oversee various projects across our portfolio, to support successful delivery of Green Funding Programmes. Reporting into the Contractor Manager you will have the day-to-day responsibility of managing contractors on site, ensuring key deadlines are met, health and safety protocols are adhered to, and that the quality of work delivered is to 'best in class' standards.

You will also support with the performance management of contractors to optimise delivery and contribute towards the success and continued growth of the Green Funding Solutions team.

Key responsibilities
  • Contribution to a fit for purpose Construction Phase Plan, inclusive of all Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Waste Management Arrangements, COSHH assessments, Emergency Response Protocols, Sub-Contractor Competency Assessment etc. for each scheme.
  • Ensuring that the safety of our customers is at the forefront of all works and that they are informed, via effective pre-install induction and post-install handover, of the works process.
  • Performing work in progress safety inspections. All issues arising to be addressed by the responsible contractor and learnings communicated to line management and peers.
  • Performing mid/post install quality inspections. All issues arising to be addressed by the responsible Contractor and learnings communicated to line management and peers.
  • Site visits to create a plan of work, ensure that access arrangements including scaffolds are safely set up.
  • Inspections of on-site project records and progress at all stages.
  • Ensure contractual processes are followed and KPIs are being met.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and submitted.
  • Ensure contractors deliver Green Funded programmes compliantly - ranging from PAS2030:2019/PAS2035, Trustmark and MCS requirements to E.ON defined best practice and approaches.
  • Act as an effective and pro-active point of contact with our Clients and Contractors, demonstrating detailed knowledge of all elements of the operational delivery of the scheme and offering assistance in resolution of issues presenting a risk to delivery.
What we need from you
  • Site Level understanding of either External Solid Wall Insulation, Air Source Heat Pump or Solar Photo-Voltaic installations. Particularly the ability to interpret technical specifications and assess if these are being correctly implemented.
  • Experience in influencing internal and external stakeholders to achieve required outcomes.
  • Enthusiastic attitude, works well within a team environment that will require a willingness to both provide support and request it when required, supportive, motivates others, shares credit.
  • Comfortable in the use of Microsoft Office Suite - particularly Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently using own initiative and solving problems.
  • Basic knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015, Health & Safety at work Act 1974 and Management of Health and Safety At Work Act 1999.
  • Ability to investigate issues and work with relevant stakeholders to reach an effective outcome for our customers.
  • Full driving licence.

  • Valid SMSTS.
  • Trade Specific or Manager Level CSCS.
