Kenton Black are recruiting for a permanent Site Supervisor on behalf of a respected civil engineering sub-contractor, covering sites across Tayside and Fife. The client, a respected civil engineering contractor with a strong presence in Tayside/Fife, is seeking an experienced and proactive Site Supervisor to support the delivery of multiple housing civils packages. If you enjoy working across varied sites, leading teams, and ensuring high-quality project delivery, this role offers a rewarding long-term opportunity—with a desirable hourly rate, overtime enhancements, and a company van provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise day-to-day civils operations across multiple housing development sites
  • Coordinate groundworks teams, subcontractors, and plant to ensure efficient workflow
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, ensuring compliance with company and site procedures
  • Oversee drainage, roads, foundations, utilities, and associated housing infrastructure works
  • Liaise with site managers, engineers, and client representatives to resolve issues promptly
  • Monitor progress against programme targets and report updates to senior management
  • Ensure quality control across all work packages, addressing defects and maintaining standards
  • Support site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily briefings
What You Bring:
  • Proven experience supervising housing civils or groundworks projects
  • Valid SSSTS or SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate teams across multiple sites
  • Good communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities
  • Full UK driving licence (required due to multi-site travel)
