Overview

An opportunity has arisen at Cathays High School for a reliable and flexible Site Supervisor to join our team, who is keen to make a difference and assist with maintaining the premises and grounds to a high standard.

As a key part of our site team, you’ll have responsibility for general site maintenance and security, using a varied skillset to carry out tasks such as opening/closing, refilling consumables, painting and decorating and manual handling, as well as ensuring the site is in a good condition for all to work and learn effectively.

Job requirements
  • Minimum of Maths and English GCSE, or equivalent qualifications
  • Good standard of maintenance and DIY experience with an understanding of health and safety parameters
  • Experience of working within an operational environment to provide day-to-day maintenance support
  • Ability to prioritise and plan own workload
  • Basic knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and precautions
