Job summary

A healthcare service provider in Carmarthen is seeking site security officers to fulfill fire warden and security duties alongside portering tasks. The role requires experience with the public and relevant safety certifications. Successful applicants will work nights strictly. Knowledge of Welsh is desirable, and training will be provided to meet language requirements if needed.

Job description

We are seeking to appoint a team of site security officers, to work alongside our well established portering team. These are newly created posts, and the primary responsibility will be to fulfil fire warden and site security duties, alongside the portering duties required to maintain a high standard of service throughout the Hospital .

There are 5 x 35 hour posts available , and successful applicants will be working Nights only

Main duties of the job

The successful candidates will

  • Conduct regular fire checks throughout the shift, and addressing or escalating any issues as they arise .
  • Perform site security checks , ensuring the building has been properly secured , and remains so overnight .

A driving licence to drive Health Board Vehicles is essential for this role

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
