Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nights Site Manager to support the delivery of night-time operations on a high-profile project. The role will cover approximately 16 weeks, starting in November, with potential requirement for weekend work. The successful candidate will manage and oversee site activities during night shifts, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution of the works.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate night works in line with the programme and project requirements.
  • Oversee and manage specialist surveys, including:
  • Asbestos
  • Structural
  • Mechanical & Electrical (M&E)
  • Dilapidations
  • Ferroscan
  • Measured surveys
  • Manage scaffold gantry installation, including lifting beam operations.
  • Oversee formation of an access hatch within a roadway, ensuring safety and compliance.
  • Monitor quality, health & safety, and environmental standards during all site activities.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Report progress, risks, and issues to the Project Manager.
  • Ensure night shift works align with overall project programme and statutory regulations.
Essential Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally with night working exposure.
  • Strong understanding of site health & safety requirements.
  • Demonstrable experience managing subcontractors and coordinating specialist surveys.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to produce accurate site reports and maintain compliance documentation.
Desirable Experience & Qualifications
  • M&E background or strong understanding of M&E systems.
  • Previous experience working on parliamentary projects or within highly secure environments.
  • BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance and/or DBS certification.
  • Scaffold and lifting operations management experience
