Site Manager - Land Remediation / Enabling Works

Location: Offices in Cardiff, Warrington, or Theale (UK-wide travel required)

Salary: £50,000 to £63,000 DOE + £6,300 car allowance + benefits

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Start Date: Immediate

The Role

As Site Manager, you'll be responsible for supervising and managing site teams and subcontractors to deliver safe, compliant, high-quality remediation projects. This is a hands-on, site-based role that requires strong leadership, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to Health & Safety.

  • Supervise and coordinate site teams and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Carry out site inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks
  • Manage equipment, plant, and material deliveries
  • Build strong working relationships with clients and subcontractors
  • Track progress and maintain accurate site documentation
  • Share technical knowledge and best practices with the wider team
  • Be flexible with travel - staying away from home most of the week (occasional Sunday night travel, early Friday finishes)
What We're Looking For
  • 5-8 years' experience in remediation or enabling works (10+ for Senior Site Manager)
  • Relevant NVQ/C&G qualification desirable
  • Health & Safety training (SSSTS/SMSTS, Asbestos Awareness) - or willingness to obtain
  • CSCS card (preferred)
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organised, with the ability to manage tight deadlines
  • IT literate and confident preparing accurate reports/documents
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK
  • Full UK driving licence
