Are you looking for a role as a Site Manager in East Sussex?

Do you have a background in construction, ideally heritage and domestic projects?

Role - Site Manager

Location - East Sussex

Salary - £55k - £65k

My client is a growing generalist building contractor they are looking for a Site manager for a client in East Sussex, ideally you\'ll have experience working on projects valued £20k up to £5m for Refurb and newbuild projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all works are undertaken with consideration to the needs of the local population
• Manage, supervise and mentor the site team
• Cover various projects and drive the team forwards
• Adopt, maintain and promote cost conscious management
• Ensure method statements and risk assessments are prepared, reviewed, briefed and updated
• Ensure that the project is properly planned, programmed and resourced to achieve safe, profitable and timely delivery
• Prepare monthly progress project reports, and ensure that method statements, risk assessments and approval documents are in place for all site activities
• Ensure thorough understanding and adherence to all the contractual requirements
• Manage materials and supply, including where necesarry obtaining this yourself
• Estimating and pricing projects and variations

Key Attributes

• Having a strong background of working within the build industry (General Builder, Site Supervisor, Foreman or Assistant Site Manager)
• CSCS site manager qualified
• First Aid
• SMSTS or SSSTS Ideally
• Valid Full UK Driving LIcence
• Safe delivery of projects to time, cost, and quality
• Be confident working in a team and adapting to more responsibility
