Overview

Site Manager - Major Residential Development, Ware, Hertfordshire

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Comprehensive Package • Start: December 2025 • Permanent

A site manager will be required for a major residential development in Hertfordshire, which is about to commence shortly. This project will include over 400 apartments and 40 three-storey townhouses over the next four years.

Responsibilities

• Reporting directly to a Project Director, you will be responsible for delivering townhouses safely and to the highest standards prior to handover to customers.
• Manage subcontractors, run weekly meetings, and coordinate activities to ensure programme milestones are met.
• Work to specifications and drawings, ensuring QA procedures are correctly implemented and maintained.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 8 years of site management experience on traditional housebuilding.
• Academic and/or trade background welcome.
• Driven to complete all townhouses to the highest standards before handover to customers.
• Proven experience managing subcontractors and conducting weekly progress meetings.
• Ability to work to specifications and drawings.
• Understanding the importance of QA procedures and how to maintain them.
