Freelance Site Manager (Facade Remediation Works)

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee day-to-day operations on a live construction site undergoing facade remediation works. This short-term role is ideal for a hands-on, organised professional who can quickly integrate with the team and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily site activities related to facade remediation.
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with project specifications, drawings, and safety standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to maintain smooth workflow.
• Monitor progress, maintain site records, and provide regular updates to the project manager.
• Carry out site inspections and enforce H&S compliance at all times.
• Address on-site issues promptly and proactively to minimise disruption.
• Liaise with building management, residents, and external stakeholders where required.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally within facade remediation, cladding replacement, or external envelope works.
• Strong knowledge of construction H&S regulations and site management best practices.
• SMSTS (or equivalent), CSCS, and First Aid certification preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple trades simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results to tight timelines
