About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of key water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Working on a variety of clean water, wastewater, pipelines, and treatment works schemes, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all site activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual with strong leadership skills and proven experience in the water sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and in line with project specifications.
  • Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, providing clear direction and maintaining high performance standards.
  • Uphold all health, safety, and environmental requirements, conducting site inspections, inductions, and toolbox talks.
  • Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure smooth communication and project progress.
  • Monitor resource usage, progress, and programme updates, supporting accurate reporting and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with water industry standards, including commissioning and handover processes.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Supervisor within the water or utilities sector.
  • Strong working knowledge of water infrastructure construction, including civils, MEICA, or pipeline installations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and method statements.
  • Good understanding of CDM regulations and HSQE best practices.
Essential Qualifications
  • SMSTS or SSSTS
  • CSCS Manager card
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Relevant engineering or construction qualification (NVQ, HNC, HND, or degree)
Desirable :
  • EUSR Water Hygiene
  • First Aid at Work
  • Confined Space Training
  • Experience on clean water or wastewater treatment projects
