Contract Type: Permanent or Temporary

We are working with an established main contractor delivering a high-end residential scheme in City of Westminster. They are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager or Senior Site Manager who is confident taking full ownership of a site and driving the programme from start to finish.

This role requires someone who is practical, detail-focused, and comfortable managing complex internal works, including basements, while maintaining momentum on site. Experience working on small high end residential projects will be ideal for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Full day-to-day management of the site, ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings, programme, and critical path
  • Interpreting drawings accurately, identifying changes, and raising RFIs promptly to avoid delays
  • Actively managing the programme, ensuring works are completed on time and sequencing is followed correctly
  • Running the site on a daily basis, coordinating subcontractors, and organising workloads
  • Managing and overseeing internal works, including high-end finishes and basement construction
  • Setting out works and checking accuracy, with a strong focus on quality and detail, particularly on high-end elements
  • Ensuring all trades are clear on their scope of works and issued with the correct, up-to-date drawings
  • Maintaining strong site communication, staying on top of emails, instructions, and queries
  • Managing health and safety on site, including inductions and ongoing compliance
  • Driving performance, resolving issues proactively, and escalating where required to keep the programme on track
Experience Required
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager on residential projects
  • High-end residential experience is essential; strong residential experience will be considered where high-end exposure is limited
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, internal works, and programme management
  • Confident taking ownership of a site and pushing works to completion
  • Must hold valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), First Aid, and Asbestos Awareness certification
What is on Offer
  • Opportunity to work on a high-quality residential project in a prime London location
  • Open to permanent or temporary candidates
  • Interviews taking place now for an end-of-February start
