Job description

Overview

Experienced Site Manager required for our project in Great Chesterford. The assignment is 7 months (could lead to longer term work with our client in and around Cambridge on other projects).

Details

Assignment rate £27P/H

Working hours: 7.30AM-4.30PM Monday-Friday (overtime hours could be available)

Requirements

Applicants must have valid SMSTS and experience in running sites.

Project

Full refurbishment of a landmark building, delivering high-specification CL2 laboratory and landlord spaces. The scheme is being delivered with a strong focus on sustainability, design coordination, and compliance with EPC B and ESG standards.

Site Manager Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations, logistics, and health & safety compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractors across demolition, MEP, architectural, and structural packages.
• Manage critical path activities including containment strip-out, plant room works, and long-lead item integration (e.g., lifts, specialist glazing).
• Support document control and instruction management via Procore and SharePoint.
