A leading civil engineering company in the UK is looking for a Site Engineer to oversee and ensure quality assurance on engineering works. This role involves daily management of site quality checks, assisting with health and safety management, and developing Graduate/Apprentice Engineers. The ideal candidate will have an HND in Civil Engineering and CSCS certification, with responsibilities including surveying and compliance with safety standards. Reporting to the site management team, this site-based role will require you to take ownership of the engineering works on site, contributing to planning the works and ensuring the works are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
You will be managing the day-to-day quality assurance, including surveying, setting out duties, quality checks and approvals in accordance with the digital design models and ensuring highly accurate records are produced, kept and stored within digital project files.
You will also be assisting the site management teams with all aspects of health, safety and environmental management.
You will be heavily involved with the development of Graduate/Apprentice Engineers for talent growth and succession.
