Job summary

A leading infrastructure firm is seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a long-term contract role on a highways and drainage infrastructure package in Norwich. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience, strong knowledge of highways and drainage works, and the ability to ensure project specifications are met. This role offers a competitive rate of £350 - £400 per day and requires an immediate start.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Engineer on civils/infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of highways and deep drainage works.
• CSCS card essential.

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a long-term contract role on a major highways and drainage infrastructure package in Norwich.

Role Overview:

• Position: Site Engineer
• Location: Norwich, Norfolk
• Project: Highways and drainage package
• Duration: 2 years
• Start Date: Immediate
• Rate: £350 - £400 per day (CIS/LTD)

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out for highways and drainage works
• Interpreting drawings and ensuring works are carried out to spec
• QA, as-builts, and daily reporting
• Working closely with the site management team and subcontractors
• Ensuring HSEQ standards are maintained on site

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Engineer on civils/infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of highways and deep drainage works
• Proficient with setting out equipment (e.g. Leica/Trimble)
• CSCS card essential
• SMSTS or SSSTS desirable but not essential
