Site Engineer

Location: London / UK-wide with some travel to our manufacturing facility in Yorkshire and some hybrid

Department: Standards & Assurance

Reporting to: Technical Director / Engineering Manager

We're looking for a Site Engineer to provide engineering duties both in our factory environment and on site‑based projects nationwide. You'll play a key role in setting out works, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your surveying skills with training in Drone technology and 3D scanning.

What you’ll do
  • Establish levels and site control for contracts
  • Set out detailed works as per contract drawings, ensuring regular checks
  • Carry out as-built surveys at Hold Points for quality assurance
  • Maintain accurate records and produce daily site diaries
  • Resolve unexpected technical challenges
  • Promote Reds10 safety rules and environmental compliance
What we’re looking for

Essential:

  • Previous experience in setting out on civil engineering projects
  • Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Proficient with Robotic Total Station & GPS instruments (Leica preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, health & safety regulations
  • Skilled in AutoCAD and MS Office
  • CSCS card holder
  • Full UK driving licence (Van & fuel card provided)

Desirable:

  • SMSTS/SSSTS certification
  • First Aid training
  • Experience with Autodesk Revit
  • As-built surveying and drawing production
