An opportunity to work on a major, high‑profile project in Somerset. Our contractor, who is synonymous with delivering earthworks and infrastructure projects across the South West, is looking for a freelance Site Engineer with experience in these fields.

Responsibilities

• Have experience in Civil Engineering schemes.
• Provide levelling and surveying across the site, checking drawings and quantities and ensuring the accuracy of calculations.
• Have experience with GPS machine guidance/control and QA.
• Issue permits and method statements.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS and experience of GPS Machine Control.
• A good understanding of Trimble.
• Excellent communication skills.
• HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Understanding of earthworks and land surveying.

Salary and Benefits
