Job summary

A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Engineer in Bridgend, UK, to work on renewable energy projects. The role includes setting out using total stations and GPS, supervising site activities, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Key qualifications include having a CSCS card (White minimum) and preferably an SSSTS/SMSTS ticket. Strong communication skills and a full UK driving licence are also essential for success in this position.

• Experience with setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs, RC bases and cable routes.
• CSCS card - White minimum is required.
• SSSTS/SMSTS ticket holder is preferable.

I am working alongside a leading civil engineering contractor who are currently looking to hire an experienced Site Engineer due to a number of new contracts being awarded. My client operates across the civils sector on renewable energy projects.

• Setting out using total station & GPS. Works include earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Working alongside the project management team.
• Site supervision.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Ensuring works are being carried out in accordance to agreed methodology and method.
• Ensuring the correct documentation is held on site.
• Ensuring works are completed on time and to specification.
  Experience with setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs, RC bases and cable routes.
• Right to work in the UK.
• CSCS card - White minimum.
• SSSTS/SMSTS ticket holder (preferable)
• Full UK driving licence.
