A leading property development company is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor based in Wallingford, Oxfordshire. In this role, you'll liaise with multiple teams and contribute to sustainability initiatives as part of the Highcroft development team. Responsibilities include preparing scope and tender documentation, managing subcontractor communications, and assisting with financial implications of site decisions.   • Experience within a developer or main contractor.
  • Site based experience is required.
  • Relevant educational background in quantity surveying or related subject.
  • Undertaking a professional qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing scope and works and trade packages.
  • Recommendation of subcontractors on 'Level Playing Field'.
  • Holding and taking minutes of meetings.
  • Preparing subcontract documentation for signing.
  • Forecasting value of design variations.
  • Writing contractual letters to subcontractors.

Skills

Experience within a developer or main contractor
