Job summary

A large contractor is looking for a Site Agent to manage civil and water packages within a Thames Water framework in East London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing subcontractors, ordering materials, ensuring quality control, and supporting site activities. Candidates must have a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent, and SMSTS or SSSTS certifications are beneficial but not required. This is a permanent, full-time position with a closing date for applications on January 15th, 2026.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Overview

Randstad CPE is looking for a Site Agent to work on a Thames Water framework in East London. You'll be working for a large tier 2 contractor delivering civil and water packages. As a Site Agent you will need to assist with the construction strategy, including kick‑off meetings, pre‑commencement documentation such as Method Statements, Environmental and Quality Plans, construction programmes, procurement and design deliverable schedules.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Managing the sub‑contractors, engineers and delivery of work.
• Procurement / ordering of materials.
• Quality Control of the works / Health and Safety.
• Production of weekly rolling.
• Providing support to site.
• Management of site activities.
• Progress reporting.

Candidate Requirements

• Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent.
• SMSTS or SSSTS would be beneficial but not essential.
