Qualifications

  • Previous experience of veterinary and/or livestock admin would be beneficial.
  • Organised and meticulous on detail, enjoys following standard processes and procedures.
  • A hard working individual committed to achieving team goals.
  • Ideally be livestock clean.
  • Experience of working with livestock would be an advantage but not necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Expertly coordinate health testing and regulatory compliance of company sires.
  • Schedule health testing for CBL resident sires.
  • Coordinate health testing schedule with Livestock Manager.
  • Complete AI Licence applications for bulls.
  • Track sample submissions and notify staff of lab results.
  • Maintain stocks of veterinary supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of sire record database systems.
  • Facilitate the statutory movements of company bulls.
  • Organise testing and movement of new purchase bulls.
  • Create communication lines with Cogent Partner Farms.
  • Support semen export and processing teams with records and targets.
  • Comply with company policies on security and regulatory compliance.
  • Fulfill health and safety responsibilities.
