Are you an experienced clinician looking for your next challenge in CAMHS? Do you enjoy a combination of operational management and strategic leadership to develop excellent services for children, young people and families?
We are looking for a team manager to lead the Southampton and Portsmouth Single Point of Access (SPA).
Legacy services all have SPAs. Whilst their functions are broadly similar, their staffing models and establishments differ significantly. Coming together in a new subdivision requires us to develop more assimilated, streamlined SPA functions, and managers in each area will play a crucial role in working together to make this happen.
This role exists within a complicated system and the post-holder must be prepared for periods of significant change. If you're excited by this prospect and have ideas which you'd like to contribute to shape our new systems, we would welcome an application from you.
You will be supported by a Head of Clinical Services, senior clinical leadership and peers, all of whom are working together and are committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for young people accessing our services.

This post has responsibility for the leadership of the Southampton and Portsmouth SPA, providing a visible and accessible presence, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and care are aspired to and achieved within the resources available.
Key areas of delivery:
The post holder is expected to provide line management and clinical supervision, and work alongside others across the sub-division to embed a robust and continually improving approach to supporting children, young people and families.
There is an expectation that the post holder will be able to offer flexible hours which may on occasion include some evening and weekend work.
This post is subject to on call.

Across Hampshire, our community hospitals provide inpatient rehabilitation as a step down from acute care, and our dedicated teams also staff Treetops Sexual Assault Referral Centre in Portsmouth, offering expert, compassionate support.
