A leading dementia support charity in Padiham is seeking enthusiastic volunteers for their Singing for the Brain sessions. As a support volunteer, you will help create a fun, engaging environment for participants with dementia. Responsibilities include welcoming attendees, assisting with setup, and promoting participation in activities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives.
Our Singing for the Brain sessions offer people affected by dementia a chance to enjoy a fun activity within a supportive environment. We need you to help make this happen!
Singing for the Brain is a structured group session, designed around the principles of music therapy and singing, for people with dementia, who may attend alone or with a carer. These uplifting sessions offer participants an enjoyable activity, as well as the chance to socialise with other people affected by dementia.

This is a weekly volunteering opportunity to support our Singing for the Brain group that meets every Tuesday in Padiham, Burnley from 12.45pm - 3pm.

Please note that all of our volunteering opportunities are based in the UK and you must be living in the UK to volunteer with us. Unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor visa applications but are grateful for your interest in supporting us.
