Job description

We’re hiring for an experienced Shot Blaster to join a skilled team specialising in the manufacture of high-quality JCB products in Dilhorne, Stoke On Trent. This is a temporary to permanent role working on Days, Monday to Thursday 06:00 – 16:30.

What will you be doing as a Shot Blaster?
  • Operate industrial shot blasting equipment to clean, prepare, and finish metal surfaces
  • Read and interpret job orders, ensuring all specifications and standards are met
  • Perform routine maintenance on blasting equipment to ensure optimal operation
  • Inspect and assess finished products for quality control
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a clean workspace
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet daily targets
What do you need?
  • Previous experience as a Shot Blaster / Sandblaster / Paint Stripper or similar
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Physically fit and able to handle manual labour in a fast-paced environment
  • Counterbalance license would be advantageous for this role.
