Shop Manager – Full Time

Position: Shop Manager (SM) – full‑time, permanent.

Hours: 45 hours across 5 days per week.

Location: Castle Retail Park, Nottingham.

We offer a variety of shifts, 5 days a week. Flexibility required, including weekends.

Pay & Benefits

Salary: £32,944 – £38,355 per annum (45‑hour contract).

Holiday: 30 days each year.

Responsibilities
  • Lead by example, actively involved in day‑to‑day shop operations.
  • Motivate and inspire the team to deliver efficient shop service.
  • Recruit, induct, coach, mentor and provide ongoing development for staff.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, quick deliveries and shop routines for a tidy, safe environment.
  • Control key shop costs – shrinkage, waste, payroll – to achieve KPI's and report to the area manager.
  • Maintain standards in customer service, cash handling, health & safety, stock management, merchandising and presentation.
