Overview

Shipping Coordinator - Bury St Edmunds - (£ Dependant upon experience)

We are currently recruiting for a Shipping Coordinator on behalf of our client based in Bury St Edmunds. This role is tasked with keeping things moving smoothly across UK and international markets. You'll manage shipping schedules, handle documentation, liaise with carriers/forwarders, and ensure goods reach customers efficiently.

Schedule

Monday-Friday (36.5 hour week)

Salary

£ Dependant upon experience

Role Responsibilities
  • Coordinating shipments and collections in line with schedules.
  • Preparing shipping and customs documentation.
  • Liaising with carriers, forwarders, and customer portals.
  • Checking freight charges and raising invoices.
  • Providing freight quotes and resolving shipping queries.
  • Supporting the wider logistics team with admin tasks.
What you will need
  • Have knowledge of UK & international shipping/logistics.
  • Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Communicate confidently with colleagues, customers, and couriers.
  • Work well under pressure with shifting priorities.
  • Be a positive, flexible team player.
  • Experience with dispatch systems would be an advantage.
