Shift Production Manager

Blackburn, Lancashire, BB1

Salary £38,000 per annum rising to £42,000 after 6 month successful probation

Hours Monday to Friday 2pm - 10pm

Permanent role.

Job Description
  • Supervising daily operations of the Manufacturing department.
  • Ensuring safety standards and procedures are adhered to.
  • Implementing efficient processes and standards.
  • Training, guiding and mentoring team members.
  • Managing resources effectively to meet production targets.
  • Collaborating with other departments to align objectives and strategies.
  • Reporting on performance and progress.
Qualifications
  • Experience of 5s Lean
  • Preferably from a FMCG background
  • Extensive knowledge of industrial/manufacturing processes and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • An ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly.
  • Promotes company values in every aspect of work.
  • Strong staff engagement.
  • Audit awareness with BRC or within food manufacturing.
