Shift Manager

Location: Bishop Auckland

Shift Pattern: Night Shift

Salary: up to £45k DOE

The Role

Shift Manager

You'll be responsible for leading a team of up to 40 people, including 2 Team Leaders, ensuring smooth operations throughout the night shift. This is hands-on leadership where you'll be:

  • Leading and developing your team through hiring, training, performance management, and creating a culture of excellence
  • Driving performance against clear KPIs around safety, productivity, quality, and attendance
  • Managing the operation to ensure delivery targets are met on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
  • Championing continuous improvement
  • Taking ownership
  • Growing your people
What We\'re Looking For
  • Proven track record leading teams in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Experience managing performance, absence, and operational KPIs
  • Successful change management. You\'ve led teams through transformation and taken them with you
  • Strong people management skills including hiring, development, and holding teams accountable
