Overview

Are you an experienced Health, Safety, Environment and Quality professional looking for a new challenge with a leading contractor? You have an exciting opportunity to multi-disciplinary contractor within their infrastructure division as SHEQ Advisor, covering schemes across Portsmouth, Havant and the surrounding region. Due to the nature of the projects involved, you will have demonstrable experience of utilities and civil engineering environments, ideally water or gas.

Responsibilities
  • Visiting various sites and integrate with the delivery teams and providing a solutions-led approach
  • Provide operational safety, health, environment and quality support throughout the region
  • Conducting regular site inspections to support operational staff working across water utilities schemes, including clean and wastewater
  • Providing a key liaison in Health, Safety, Environment and Quality with internal and external stakeholders
  • Driving best practice in a challenging health and safety environment
Qualifications
  • NEBOSH-qualified (MINIMUM)
  • Experienced in water or gas utilities or civil engineering projects (ESSENTIAL)
  • Dynamic and personable
  • Able to engage with site teams with safety, health and environment issues
  • Driven and autonomous
