Job Title: Sheet Metal Fabricator

Location: Leamington Spa, Warwickshire

Hours: Day shift Monday to Friday (Overtime available)

Salary: Up to £20.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Overview

A well‑established and expanding engineering manufacturer is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator to join their skilled workshop team. The business supplies precision‑engineered components and bespoke fabrications for industries including food processing, oil and gas, and general manufacturing. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a professional and growing company producing high‑quality, one‑off and small batch fabrications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering and manufacturing drawings.
  • Produce and follow cutting lists from technical documentation.
  • Fabricate sheet metal components from start to finish - including cutting, folding, drilling, rolling, and polishing.
  • Carry out TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium.
  • Operate fabrication machinery such as press brake, guillotine, rollers, and drill press.
  • Work on bespoke fabrications such as frameworks, tanks, trolleys, and platforms.
  • Maintain excellent attention to detail and deliver a high standard of finish.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety and quality control procedures at all times.
Experience & Skills Required
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding.
  • Skilled in TIG welding of stainless steel and steel (aluminium experience advantageous).
  • Good working knowledge of MIG welding processes.
  • Capable of producing one‑off and small batch components from technical drawings.
  • Strong mechanical understanding and problem‑solving ability.
