A local government authority in Hull is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the Hull Shared Lives scheme. This role involves assessing and training Shared Lives carers to provide high-quality, person-centred services, ensuring individuals with support needs live fulfilling lives. Applicants should be committed to collaboration and improving lives, and must have the right to work in the UK. This position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the community.
If you believe in a kinder, stronger society where everyone lives a full life regardless of the support they need, Hull Shared Lives is the team for you. An exciting post has arisen for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to work within the Hull Shared Lives scheme.
Hull Shared Lives is part of Hull City Council’s Adult Social Care. The scheme provides opportunities for people who need support to live full and rewarding lives within the homes of Shared Lives carers by carefully matching carers with people who need support. It’s a bit like fostering for adults and provides an alternative to supported living or residential care.
This is an exciting time of development for Hull Shared Lives, and we would love to hear from you if you are committed to working collaboratively and have an interest in improving the lives of people with care and support needs.
This role is not available for sponsorship therefore is only open to applicants who have the right to work in the UK.
Please ensure that your application demonstrates how you meet the essential criteria against the person specification as listed in the job description.
