Overview

East Sussex College is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Lecturer in Bookkeeping to join our Business Services team at our Eastbourne campus. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and support learners in achieving professional bookkeeping qualifications.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning for accredited bookkeeping qualifications (e.g. AAT or equivalent).
  • Prepare engaging lesson plans and resources tailored to adult learners and career changers.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support learners in achieving their goals and progressing in their careers.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes.
Qualifications
  • A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
  • Relevant professional qualification in bookkeeping or accounting (e.g. AAT Level 3 or higher).
  • Industry experience in bookkeeping or financial administration.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive and learner-centred education.
